The TELEX bridge pickup is a fiery tone generator that is strongly inspired by the early Blackguard bridge pickups. Our unique blend of AlNiCo magnet materials and pole shape results in a very dynamic and focussed attack, with tight bass and dominant, but warm treble response.
The TELEX neck pickup is wound to Blackguard specs with 43 AWG wire. It is equipped with six powerful A5 rod magnets and is capped with a high quality, copper/brass free cover that has absolutely no impact on tone.
Designed and hand wound by VIP in Salem, USA, the TELEX is made of highest quality components, sourced exclusively in the USA.

Warranty Coverage
All VIP pickups are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase. Any modification or alteration to the product will void the warranty.
If the pickup was purchased through an authorized dealer, please contact the dealer directly for all warranty-related claims and support.

Returns & Exchanges
Pickups purchased directly from us may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided that: Items are in original, brand new condition. Items show no signs of use, unless noted below. You have obtained return authorization from us prior to shipping the item back
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Important Notes: Items returned in less than brand new condition may be refused
Custom orders and non-stock items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
Condition Exceptions & Service Fees
We understand that pickups may be handled during installation attempts. The following reconditioning fees apply if an item is returned with minor alterations:
Lead wire replacement (shortened, un-braided, or with solder residue): $40 per pickup (applies to braided wire or 4-conductor cable)
Damaged or scratched covers: $40 per cover replacement
These fees will be applied before any refund or exchange is processed.
Shipping Issues (Lost or Damaged Orders)
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can assist. All shipments are insured for up to $100. The maximum reimbursement for lost or damaged shipments is $100 per shipment.
