1968 is the first year of the "long" neck 330, which makes it play just like a 335 with full access to the fretboard.

This one is an unbelievable guitar that - accordingly - ain't no case queen and has "lived". The original pickups were removed long ago and replaced with humbuckers at one point (hence the slightly enlarged pickup routs). Now, it has two Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90s installed (under the original covers), which sound phenomenal. The tuners have been replaced with Grovers, probably in the 70s. A small headstock crack has been repaired expertly and is barely visible. A chunk of wood is missing on the back on one side of the headstock (my guess is that and the crack happened at the same time). The bridge posts are a little bent and I've been meaning to replace them at one point. But as of now, the guitar plays and intonates perfectly fine.

The action is low with no buzz, thanks to a pro refret. The neck is rather slim (.79" at the first and .096 at the 12th fret) with typical 1 9/16" nut width and feels great!

As expected, it's a lightweight guitar at 6.4 lb and comes with a newer TKL hardshell case.

Here's your chance to get a real vintage ES-330 that sounds and plays phenomenally for less than a modern reissue.
