For our 10th Anniversary (I started VIP in 2015) I decided to build myself a Telecaster® style guitar that included all updates that I've found to enhance the sound of this ultimate classic even further.
This includes reversing the orientation of the bridge TELEX pickup using our VIPlate bridge with US-made compensated brass saddles, a stunning birdseye maple neck with a dark rosewood fretboard and reverse headstock that was finished with 100% nitro lacquer and slightly aged by our friends at Karge Guitars. The neck pickup is one of our handwound LOVERS Sara-Buckers for all the dynamic and transparent sweetness you could ever wish for.
Of course, it comes with our VIP wiring harness using matched 280k VIPots and a NOS .033 PIO cap and - as added bonus - an original vintage 50s Switchcraft output jack.
There are some signs of use here and there (most notably there's some lacquer damage around the bottom strap bottom that you can only see when the button is removed, and a slightly indented string ferrule on the back). But otherwise, this guitar is in excellent condition and comes in a quality gigbag.
Like with all guitars, you may have to adjust the setup to your liking and/or to adjust it to different climates. As of now, it is set up with D'Addario 10s and plays effortlessly with low action.

Return policy
We offer a 24 hr approval period on this guitar. The customer pays all shipping and insurance costs both ways. Before returning any item, customers must start a return request. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense. Returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
